Rogers Family in Shepody Cemetery, Albert County, New Brunswick Canada. Many descendants of John Rogers (of N. Ireland and Nova Scotia) are buried in historic Shepody Cemetery. In July of 2008 Alan Rogers, Carol McCoy, Jamie Gagan and Bill White worked to uncover many Rogers' tombstones that have been buried by vines. Tombstones photographed include Robert Rogers (and his wife Martha Mahon), John Rogers II, William Rogers (son of Robert), George Rogers, Christopher Rogers, and other. An older photo of John Dudgeon's tombstone (courtesy of Jim West) is also included. Jim West of Shepody NB is leading the charge to restore this historic cemetery. For those interested, I recommend finding David Christopher's book Cemeteries of Albert County which lists many of the known tombstones in this cemetery. (Note .pdf large file)
