Carol discussed why Deeds are such a valuable resource to genealogists. She presented a case about proving the parentage of Margaret York so that Margaret’s descendants could join the Mayflower Society. Some of the pictures here show land that Margaret inherited from her father in the part of Cushing Maine which later became St. George Maine in Lincoln County.
